He was the brave son of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A) and he was the loyal brother of Imam Husayn ibn Ali (A).
He was the flagbearer of Imam Husayn (A) in the epic of Karbala and to this very day the flag which he held in his hands until his martyrdom continues to fly high all across the world.
