Msg to the Muslim Students in Europe

The following is the full text of the message issued on January 20, 2017 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to the participants of the 51st annual meeting of the Union of the Islamic Students Associations in Europe.

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Dear young students,

Youth and seeking knowledge can each be like a powerful engine in assisting one towards sublime ideals. Other than these two, you have advantage of being part of the effective network of muslim student associations. This establishes great responsibility on you. What’s expected of you is more than academic, religious, and moral self-building. The expectation is that you impact your surroundings and increase the people who will tread the path of God through your words and actions. In the asymmetric war of the alliance of disbelief and arrogance against the standing flag of true Islam, this is the responsibility of all of us. Each of us must be a blessed spring from which true Islamic teachings, the straight path of God, flow. I pray that your pure hearts be lively, hopeful, and bright.
