Who is there that can put forth the hand of salvation towards humanity? Those who are glued to worldly desires, glued to lusts, and glued to carnal desires can’t do so because they are themselves lost. Those who are captives to their ego and their self-centeredness cannot save humanity; they themselves need to be saved by someone.
