Who behaves in an oppressive and unjust manner…

“Who behaves in an oppressive and unjust manner towards the servants of Allah”. The Messenger (S) doesn’t say, “towards the believers”. That which creates a responsibility for you is not that the [oppressive] power [only] oppresses believers. No, he’s saying “towards the servants of Allah”. It means towards the people of Allah, the whole of humanity. And it can be any front, any power, and any oppressive center which does these things to the people: “behaves in an oppressive and unjust manner towards the servants of Allah”
