On the night of the birth of his son, Imam Ridha (A) told his Shias about the birth of his son and said Allah – the Exalted – has endowed me with a son who like [Prophet] Musa ibn Imran is the splitter of [great] rivers and is like Isa ibn Maryam (A) in that Allah – the Exalted – has made the mother of Muhammad ibn Ali [al-Taqi] holy and pure, and He created her pure and purified.
