Many people – who had listened to [lady] Zaynab (A)…


Many people – who had listened to [lady] Zaynab (A) or Imam Sajjad (A) in Kufa, in Shaam, and in between – found out a lot of things. They found out a lot of things when they saw the conditions of the captives of Karbala. But they didn’t have the courage or the strength to stand up to that oppressive, tyrannical, arrogant, and suppressive government, and show what they had found out. It was like a lump in the throat of the believers. Arba’een provided the first outlet for the suppressed truth and the feelings of the believers; the first revolt took place on Arba’een.
