During the era of resistance, I knew Agha [Shaheed Asadullah] Lajevardi as a man who was like steel. Among us friends, the one who would never get tried of getting hit, then taking steps, and going to jail, then coming out, and then going again [to jail], was Agha [Shaheed] Lajevardi. And – praise be to Allah – he was the same during the time of working towards and making efforts for the Islamic government.
