Dahe Fajr (The Ten Days of Fajr) is the sunrise of the [Islamic] Revolution. In reality, it is the point of freedom for the Iranian people and it is a point in our history, which separates our past from our future. In this country, before the era of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic, the governmental establishment and the relationship between the ruler and the people was an un-Islamic one. It was the relationship between a Sultan and a peasant, a dominator and a dominated. Dahe Fajr came and it broke and ended that shamefully wrong hierarchy, that faulty image, and that diseased system.
