Allah – the Blessed, the Exalted – has invited you in the [holy] month of Ramadan to be His guest. Just as you know, being a guest of Allah means to fast. It isn’t like our invitations which have extravagant observances. Being a guest of Allah means to refrain from those things which are connected with a human being’s carnal desires. Be careful to act upon the etiquettes of the blessed month of Ramadan; meaning its spiritual etiquettes.
